This is my third update of this series of the year and also my third update of it in less than a week (I've wrote all three posts in a week but the times they come out might be different)! But I am determined to catch up! As always, everything except the 'Overall' sections are (possibly) full of SPOILERS!

Corpse Party [Japan - 2015  5/10]

( Kids in a HS alone ) )

Overall: Not the best made movie production and quality but I was definitely creeped and freaked out (I am NOT a horror person) and IkeP was just sexy the entire time <3 But that ending was so confusing and hurtful though!

The Liar and His Lover [ Japan - 2013  8/10 ]

( A story about music and struggles ) )

Overall: I definitely needed more Sato x Kubota in this xD but I really enjoyed thiss greatly and I like how it was about music and the darker themes of the music industry, it's a sweet story, amazing voices and a few tears were dropped.

The Magic Hour [ Japan - 2008  9/10 ]

( High praises to no end! ) )

Overall: This was amazing! This is a VERY highly produced and high quality movie with amazing acting and visuals and music and the comedy and the story was so good and entertaining! Amazing cast and acting too! This director knows what he's doing!

Udagawachou de Matteyou [ 2015 - Japan  6/10 ]

( Cuteness! ) )

Overall: This was so cute and I love how Mario's character was just the sweetest and so supportive! I really like the topic they dealt with and I like how they dealt with it. I wish there'd been more time so we could've learnt about the characters more and I wish we'd had more time to develope their relationship, some parts did feel a bit rushed.

PS. Subs for this are not out yet and I'm currently working with those that ARE making the subs.

Senpai to Kanojo [ Japan - 2015  8.5/10 ]

( The pureness! ) )

Overall: Yoshine's face annoys me, it's has a standard Japanese HS romance plot, and the ending let it down but everything else was so cute, so pure, so heartwarming!! I related immensly to the main girl character which enhanced my enjoyement of the film, and JunJun is just so <3333 in it! I enjoyed this a lot!! I already wanna rewatch this.

Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai SP [ Japan - 2015  8.5/10 ]

I thought I'd already revied this on my blog but for some reason I cannot find the post about it at all! Did I fuck up? Oh well here it is coming to you like 4 months late!!

( Too sexy xD ) )

Overall: I loved every moment of this! It's hilarious, ridiculous and all so sexy <3 I love all the characters and the actors in this and it had me squealing like a fangirl a LOT! In a way this plays out every girls fantasy of being outright fought over by two guys xD I found every moment of this and I could not wait to watch me. << I have since watched the film xD

---

And that's 6 more reviews done!! I think I have ONE more batch in this series to do before I've fully caught up so long as I don't watch and finish anything before them xD Let me know all your thoughts, opinions and fangirlings below!

I watched this on Monday!

I don't really have much to say so no point having a cut for this post:

I think this would've been better as a second season rather than a movie. I feel the fact we only had 2 hours really forced the drama to lose all the charm it had in the drama and it didn't have enough time to build suspense. Also, cos it got delayed for like a YEAR, a lot of my interesting and hype in the product was pretty much gone by the time it FINALLY came out and (going back to it being a movie) we kinda lost and/or forgot all the characters and their charms in the movie and there was like no development. Also, I felt like the ending was very, very predictable (both character deaths were predictable to the exact detail in my mind) so I was a tad disappointed. The switching of roles (see me trying not to spoil anything) was very obvious too! There was definitely not enough Tsune-chan. I wish we'd been shown more of his school-life too. There were a few dodgy edits which is concerning =/ I wanted 'Chike' to show up at the end too!

On a positive: The comedy parts were great (but stopped being a comedy after the first 30minutes or so ='[) It had a very beautiful opening shot once they finished with the 'this is what happened in the dorama' catch up. I also really liked the locations used (like the place with the giant tree! and I'm always a sucker for old looking Japanese places/houses) as well as the music (the music has always been amazing though!) which I now have playing in my head xD OH! There's also the costumes! Holy CRAP the costumes!! I seriously just want Nobunaga and Hideyoshi's outfits to lounge in at home cos they look freaking comfy as fuuuu!! I did shed a tear at the end scene with the video. The cute little Nobunaga and Chike figures were so cute too!!

But yes astetically it was beautiful but the story and development and climaz of the story were disappointing =[ I did feel unsatisfied at the end.

Rating: 5/10

PS. I'm seeing BASARA tonight (Friday night) so hopefully a review will be up Saturday night but Tuesday at the latest!

Watched this today and there were only me and two 30+ year old men watching it xD

This movie ended up being a lot more enjoyable that I was expecting. I really don't like Ninninger and in fact throughout this film I sat there and thought 'I can tell you A LOT about the Gokaigers, Goseigers, GoBusters, (why do I watch all the ones with Go in?), Kyoryuger etc. but I cannot tell you a single thing about the Ninningers except Yakumo went to magic school in England and StarNinger is from America' which PROVES how much of a SHITTY job they've done in character development this series!! Ugh... but anyway...

( Review underneath ) )

Overall: I liked the concept and most of the story. I am a love of the theme song and it was great to see all the member dancing together at the end xD JunJun was an angel <3 I really liked the costumes and the cinematography too! But ugh Taka... just... please die. And I'm still not happy with Ninninger overall but this movie was enjoyable.

Raitng: 7/10

This was tonight's movie!!

Quickie Review: 6/10

I was a little skeptical going into this film because one of my students said it wasn't good and I don't like Sakaguchi (that is his name right?) but I have to say that the trailer made this look so good so in the end; I just had to see it! Plus it's cheaper to watch it in the cinema than to buy it xD Also it's cost 50% of what it costs for a cinema ticket to probably rent the DVD when it comes out so, yeah, I watched it in the cinema....

( Oremonogatari ) )

---

Overall: It was a decent movie but I feel it could've really gone all out on the comedy. There were laughable moments but they were few and far apart and I'm disappointed at the lack of gayness after all the vibes I got during it. I haven't seen the anime so I can't compare the film to the anime but I've always wanted to watch the anime so if I ever do, I'll do a comparison for definite!

Have you seen? Have you see the anime? Which did you prefer? Do you like Sakaguchi (if that's even his real name)??

I am officially stating that Matsuzaka is on his second peak in the entertainment world! He was HUGE around 2010 - 2012 but has been extremely quiet since, but this year he's really kicked back in! Let me show you all the stuff he's been in recently (Jan 2015 - Jan 2016) and will be in soon!!

Convinced? Cos I sure am! And loving it!! If I missed anything then let me know!!

Not gunna lie, minus the anime, I watched all these in the past 3 days! Becareful for SPOILERS and don't forget my massive 14 part review that I did last time, here. All my other 'Last Things' can be found under this tag.

( Some beautiful Nijiro caps btw ) )

---

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed those reviews xD I do apologise for the language. I think I'm gunna try and do a non-swearing review next time as a challenge xD I am now going to go and watch Assassination Classroom and Kabukichou Love Hotel I think now. it's only 8pm and on my day off so I can easily fit in two movies right! ^_^

Have you seen any these? Want to see? What did you think? Any recommendations?

So I've been wanting to watch these doramas recently but dunno where to start to hoping you guys can pitch in....

BUT before we begin: Tbscreenrider don't you DARE start mentioning Nijiro's stuff! His stuff is already on my official 'must watch asap' list and not this list which is 'thinking of watching' COMPLETELY different list xP I'm especially interested in watching 'Why Don't You Play In Hell?' first of his...

These are two I've been meaning to watch for a LONG time and STILL not gotten around to them!

Library Wars (futuristics, I think libraries are bad in this future) and Yuusha Yoshihiko to Maou no Shiro (comedy, fantasy, nice to see Yamada do comedy).

And then there is the massive amount of Suda Masaki that turns out I haven't seen!!! o_O

Soko no mi ni te hikaru teraku, Akegarasu, Chocolietta, Hidamari no Kanojo, The Backwater, The Boy Inside, and Assassination Classroom

I met with my friend yesterday and she seriously recommended these films to me too...

Pacchiri:
Romeo, A.K.A. Kosuke Matsuyama, is a second-year high school student. A nice, normal, nonviolent type, he suddenly finds himself in the middle of a rampaging crowd of Korean boys, outraged by insults perpetrated by several of his idiotic class-mates on two Korean girls. He makes a narrow escape, but soon after, he and his best bud Norio Yoshida are sent by their home-room teacher to invite the Korean students to a friendly soccer game as a way of restoring the peace.
Trembling like black-uniformed leaves, they enter enemy territory, where Kosuke encounters a doll-faced, but serious-looking girl Kyung-Ja Lee playing a Korean folk song, "Imjin River," on a flute. He and Norio Yoshida are also nearly lynched by her older brother Ang Son Lee and his gang, but he is already smitten -- and eager to learn that haunting tune.

Outrage:
The story begins with Sekiuchi (Kitamura Soichiro), boss of the Sannokai, a huge organized crime syndicate controlling the entire Kanto region, issuing a stern warning to his lieutenant Kato (Miura Tomokazu) and right-hand man Ikemoto (Kunimura Jun), head of the Ikemoto-gumi. Kato orders Ikemoto to bring the unassociated Murase-gumi gang in line, and he immediately passes the task on to his subordinate Otomo (Beat Takeshi), who runs his own crew. The tricky jobs that no-one wants to do always end up in Otomo’s lap.

ALSO! My flatmate JUST recommended this to me!

Watched it about an hour ago so here we go with the review! And I think you'll be partially shocked...

SPOILERS

Rule One: Forget the origins of Shingeki no Kyojin and just take this version for what it is. Once you're in that mindset, I think (just like me) you'll enjoy the second half a LOT more than the first movie! Yes you heard it here for: I enjoyed it!

( the end of the review ) )

---

Overall Rating: 7/10
Overall Thoughts: I enjoyed this one a LOT more than the first one and I knew I would when I saw the trailer at the end of the last film. This was action packed, Hanjo was hilarious, so many gay moments <3 but of course it had it's down, mainly one certain person and that DAMN ending!!!! RAGE! But was an improvement from the first film. I would say if you watched the first then defo invest time in the second film (with the mind set of no comparing it to the anime/manga) but if you didn't see the first and have no real interest or intention to then don't even attemp to watch these two films.

( Spoilers - major and minor - be aware! ) )

Overall Rating: 10/10
Overall Thoughts: I laughed, I cried, the changes were awesome, Yamazaki did an amazing job <3 his portrayal was a little different but an improvement I think: EVERYONE SHOULD SEE THIS!

This is based off the trailer that is being shown on the website (here)

SO! Here we go:

The opening to the website says: ‘Only 6 death notes are allowed at a time.’
So I guess we’ll be having 3 people - 3 shinigami or Ryuk and 5 people with DNs…
It say’s ‘Light’s Comeback/Revival (depending on which word you translate it into)’ so Light comes back with vengeance? Or he IS the Shinigami this time…
Also say’s ‘L Successor’ so could be Near’s story…
It mentions ‘cyber-terrorism’
‘The New World’s God’
Then it shows 5 Death Notes dropping from the sky. Not 6 - 5!!! So confirmed 5 people and 1 shinigami?!
Before it turns in ‘2016′ it says ‘b b b b b b’. So… will we be getting B’s story? Or y’know that’s just the font for ‘6′. Also the 2016′s ‘6′ turns a different colour right at the end.
My conclusion is: 5 DNs, 1 Shinigami (who is Light) making up 6 DNs in total, Possibly Near (but I’m getting B vibes) as the detective head, Cyber-terrorism so one of the new DNers is a hacker, possibly? Or an organisation like the Yotsuba group.

What are everyone’s conclusions and theories?

PS. Going to bed now (even though it 9:30pm) cos I've either got a tempurature or I'm still hung over from last night! o_O

no title

I watched this last week but for some reason at the time of wanting to post this LJ wouldn't let me upload the movie poster -__- so it's coming to you a week late! I'd say the following review contains no spoilers xD

Rating: 7/10

I seriously loved the drama so of course was very excited for the film, and while it was a great film, I can't help that it was missing the action and the relationships that were in the dorama... I (obviously) cried like 4 times at this film for various reasons, both happy and sad reasons cos I do love these characters! Which brings me to the main negative of the film review: There was NOT enough Ichigo x Ayano Go's character! I wanted more of them working together! Cos they work so well as opposites and OMG they seriously ARE gay for each other! That semi-end scene OMG so much gay! But also I was crying xD I definitely wanted and needed more of that duo! Also, this film was a little difficult for me to follow because the language is very specific to scientific and detective vocabulary that I had a hard time understanding what they were discussing but obvs it's a film so by looking I could understand what's going on but I do feel down when I can't understand the words 100% even if it's obvious what's going on by the images on the screen... But yes, the story was solid, the acting was brilliant, the actual ending was pretty decent and I had all the emotions and enjoyed the action immensly so yes, overall a solid, good movie which would've been enjoyed more if I could've understood more! =]

Have you seen this? Do you plan to see this? Did you watch the drama? Let me know below!

Guys... he did it again! He landed another role! DAMN he's been so busy this year! I hope he's eating okay... but back to the news!!

Pretty sure the news broke out today but I will severly upset if someone tells me now that I'm late in knowing this so shhhh!!! LET ME HAVE MY MOMENT!!

(Information partly taken from jdramaid and including my comments)

The story’s revolve about Kaori Miyazono, a free-spirited violinist with secret, attracted to Kousei Arima, a genius pianist who has given up playing. Together with their friends Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryota Watari help each other to be picked up again. Seemingly, Suzu Hirose and Yamazaki Kento have been practicing the violin and piano for the past 6 months. I am excited that Taishi Nakagawa is getting much bigger roles now too! He is finally being recognised and this'll be his second time working with Yamazaki correct? Filming begins this October for a month then will be released on 2016. I am very excited to see Yamazaki play a mentally tortured boy - and I mean that in the nicest way possible and in terms of his scope as an actor!

In Summary:

SHIGATSU HA KIMI NO USO (a anime that - what I saw - was really good!) + Live Action Movie (a platform I love) + YAMAZAKI KENTO (the guy I currently live for and love) = YES!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE IT TO ME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE IT TO ME LIKE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!

I'm not happy about the actress - if I remember correctly her voice annoys me. BUT we're getting another Yamazaki film very soon so I can't complain!

Which brings me to a question....: Have you seen: Shigatsu ha Kimi no Uso If not... WHY NOT?! To be honest cos so Uni finals I stopped at like episode 4 but I've always intended to complete it and now I have a definite reason to! SO... my main question is: Watch-a-Long? I'm thinking we make this one maybe a 1 - 2 month long one? So that not only can we leisurely watch this (anime definitely isn't a strong interest of mine so I rarely, rarely, rarely marathon them) but also with the filming beginning in October, we can most likely add that progress into our discussions - what does everyone think?!

Have you seen the anime? What did you think? Read the manga? Wanna do the watch-a-long?
Yes dates will be discussed below and/or at a later date. Do you love Yamazaki as much as I do?
Comment below!

I literally watched this less than 3 hours ago!

Non Spoiler Review: This was really funny! I laughed hard about twice xD Naturally this film was perfect for me because it involved the entertainment world and I love all Japanese movies that are about the industry or even CM/magazine industry or fashion etc. You get the jist! I half expected it to be heavy romance and for it to be a very stereotypical company romance but it wasn't, it was a little different so that was nice but I wish the romance was a little more developed and I wish the ending had a bit more information. The ending credits needed a funner sequence too. I was also shocked by Inoue's body. And naturally I drooled all over Yamamoto <3 that make is still 'dripping with good looks' (please tell me y'all seen Ouran?!). It was a good time, but you know my negatives already. I also liked how much natural noise there was in this!

7/10

Will you see this film?

Just a quick post where everyone can say how they're doing so....

How is everyone?

I've noticed everyone has gotten a little quiet lately and figured it was either because A. everyone's gotten really busy, B. people aren't as caught up with AH and DN unlike myself or C. I'm not posting content that's interesting to you. So by all means: tell me everything!!

Howa you?
Whatcha been doing?
Whatcha looking forward to/future plans?

ALSO!

I was thinking of starting a new segment... at the minute I have 'The Last Things I Watched', 'Death Note Discussion' and 'Age Harassment Discussion' segments and I was thinking of adding a 'Fave Doramas/Movie in [Insert Genre]', what does everyone think? If you think it's a good idea, then definitely say and also, let me know which genre I should do first!

Bye bye!!

I’ve been reading Heroine Shikkaku and Orange lately in anticipation of Yamazaki being in both of them and because they’re both being released this year and I thought I’d share my views on what I’ve read so far and how I think Yamazaki will do…

Fistly Heroine Shikkaku – WHICH btw seemingly there are currently cut outs for PRing this movie in most cinemas. So guess what I’m doing on my day off on Tuesday xD

So far I’ve read the first two volumes of this! The character development is very good and it has some seriously funny moments xD I am liking Hatori very much and Rita is still very much a mystery but hopefully we can see more of his side soon, and Kousuke definitely has potential to win over my heart xD

General Plot of the Story:

We follow our main girl, Hatori who is in love with her childhood friend, Rita(Yamazaki) but he decides to date a (what she thinks is a) plain girl and she can’t understand why she isn’t the heroine of his love story because Hatori believes it is her destiny to always be with him and thinks in natural that they would go out. But through her own fault, she never confesses and he begins to date a girl called Adachi. Until she meets someone hotter, Kousuke, who pursues her, and slowly her heart begins to change, but is Rita only just realising his feelings for her now that she is interested in someone that isn’t him? And is Rita’s girlfriend really just as innocent and as nice as she appears?

Manga Spoilers (for first two volumes!):

( 1 ) )

From Manga to Film – My Thoughts:

Firstly the trailer *watches 1:34 minute trailer*

Now onto Orange!! OMG this manga guys! Holy crap! It’s SO beautiful! I’ve only read one volume of it so far but holy crap, I was trying SO HARD not to cry on the train and during work when I was reading it! xD Seriously, if it’s in English or your native language – READ IT!

General Plot:

Naho receives a letter one day from her future self telling her that she has many regrets which all began during her second year at high school and wishes to change them, but gives her past self the option. So first thing: ‘Set alarm clock the night before – so I’m not late’ Naho oversleeps as was written in the letter. Over the next few days she learns that what the letter says is true and she begins to slowly set the regrets straight. But there is one huge this that her future self really wants to change: the new transfer students life; Naruse Kakeru’s life.

Manga – Spoilers for Volume 1:

And that's all I have for now! So do post lots in the comments below about what you think about these two movies:

The next two weeks I'm working nights so I get the mornings to catch up on stuff! Which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because I always wake up early in Japan so can get lots of stuff dnone before work. Bad because I ALWAYS wake up early in Japan meaning I'll probs be shattered by the time I finish work at 9pm tonight which means I'll probs miss BUSAIKU -__- but I will carry lots of suger to help me out! Onto the review!

Of course be aware of SPOILERS!

I saw this on opening day ^_^ Before I go into my review, I will warn you: My expectations for this film were very, very low. Also I cannot stand Miura Haruma. But let us get into the details!

( Don't Forget: I'm not a Miura fan! ) )

---

Overall Thoughts: It was better than I expected but remember my expectations were like -50 xD and cannot wait for the second/final installment where it looks like it really is gunna be 180 degrees different to the anime! o_O
