The Last Things I Watched Part XII

Not gunna lie, minus the anime, I watched all these in the past 3 days! Becareful for SPOILERS and don't forget my massive 14 part review that I did last time, here. All my other 'Last Things' can be found under this tag.

Psycho Pass [2012 - Japan]
6/10

Everyone hyped so much about this that I guess it fell into 'my expectations were too high' because it was alright at best. The premise is great, I really liked the idea of this thing deciding who is good and who is bad, it leads to a lot of conflicted views. I enjoyed the entire series but I never felt excited watching it nor felt the need to continuing watching. I loved the individual crime scenes that occured through out this anime but the overall arc was just meh. I felt myself seriously understanding and being completely on the bad guys side. I agree that we shouldn't live a certain way just because a machine tells us to! I do agree with them that a machine shouldn't decide if someones unfit and mad and should be killed on the spot without trial. So because of my views being completely in sync with the bad guys, I really hated the main character. Holy shit this bitch needed slapping. How fucking stupid is she?! What a whiny bitch! Just die! OMG I don't, literally DON'T understand how she's still following the machines orders after EVERYTHING. Even right at the end she was following what they say even though she's like 'you won't last long' wtf make up your mind bitch!! And I do not, DO NOT, believe she couldn't shoot a bad guy to save her friend. Some fucking friend she is! SHE'S THE FUCKING WORST! OMG, I need to move on before I mentally murder a fictional character.
O and another thing, when these murder cases and occured and stuff I kept thinking 'where the fuck are all the security cameras?!' you're telling me this technological-needed society DOESN'T have security cameras?! Do you realise how fucking easy it'd be to solve these cases if there were security cameras?! A dead body in a park and was clearly transported there - get those fucking security cams out!! I honestly couldn't by into cams not being everywhere.
I enjoyed the amount of classical music used in this anime too.
And of course the animation itself was beautiful!
I will watch the second season cos I've heard it makes more logical sense and I do wanna find out what happened to a certain character.
Another little thing: the cars are all driving automatically, so why the FUCK are seats still facing forward?! WE NEED SWIVLE CHAIRS AT THAT POINT!!!
So yes: overhyped, fucking stupid MC but the astestics are beautiful.

Why Don't You Play in Hell? [2013 - Japan]
7/10

First things first: I couldn't find Nijiro ANYWHERE in this so let's just assume the MDL had him credited inccorectly. But going onto the review!
Fucking mental!!
That end scene, the WHOLE concept, everything is completely bonkers! And I LOVED IT!
It was hilarious!
The part where I seriouslt cracked was when the crew got into so much that the joined in! xD
Damn entertaining!
My only complaint is that I wish the first part was shorter << this seems to be a running theme for me where the set-up takes too long.
And I wish the action/end part was longer.
Hasegawa was brilliant in this! <3 This man seriously <3 sexy and talented!! <3

Tenshi no Knife [2015 - Japan]
6/10

As usual with my reviews. It's half being written right now and half comments that I wrote while watching it xD I hope these tense-switches never piss you off =/ do they?!

Look at this cutie pie called Chiba <3
Koide looks OLD in this! Is this intentional make up? Or is he older than I thought?
I REALLY hope Chiba ain't the bad guy...

Here is my pumpkin pie!! xD
The reporter is so suspsicious!! -_-
Wada is suspicious too!
I don't like Koide's character's relationship with his daughter. It feels VERY distant. It makes me even more uncomfortable that she doesn't hug him when she leaves him at Preschool.
EVERYONE IS SUSPICIOUS!!!
*around episode 4 when Koide and his mother is law are arguing* Y U YELLING?! FUCKING HELL! You'll wake your daughter up!! How the fuck she slept through the first 15 minutes of that argument. Jesus christ!
They fucking used the 'she's a bad guy. Or no wait, she just unfortunately became part of a murder case' scenario -____- I fucking HATE goodie two shoes so why you doing this shitty plot twist?!
WADA DID IT?!

FUCKINGGGGGG YEEEESSSS!!!! Nijiro finally gets a role to sink his teeth into and seriously play with! And I fucking loved his character and his performance!! Seriously people, it's taken me three times to try and see this sort of perfomance from him! People need to be hiring him more so I can really see his scale!! -_-
She's the bad guy?! I HATE when minor characters end up being the bad guy! If they're so fucking important then give them more fucking screen time so we can be fucking suspicious and then it also makes it a stronger convincing case when they DO end up being the bad guy!! -_-
I fucking KNEW he'd tried to kill him back in episode 4!!! FUCK YES! His actions were too suspicious at that point.
He's finally a decent father...
She only got stabbed in the arm, why she spending a WEEK in hospital?!

Oh course Wada was the mastermind behind it xD
Ah shit! He killed the little girl! I was NOT expecting that! =O HELL YEAH!
But... how OLD is Wada supposed to be in this?! He should only be like early 20s when she killed that guy but that doesn't make sense cos he'd be late twenties before he was in such a high political/legal position...
Episode 5, 35min: I cannot stop laughing at Koide. His head moves every time he says a work xD it's actually cracking me up hard!
Why is this ending with Koide looking sad a fuck?! o_O shouldn't he be fucking happy?
I wish we'd had more of a resolution with Nijiro's character too...

Danshi Koukou Sei no Nichi Jyou [2013 - Japan]
6/10

I've watched the entire anime so I was looking forward to this!
This is a very off beat comedy. Lots of talking and then BAM a massive laugh and then quiet, slow story again and BAM another huge laugh, which doesn't bother me but I can understand why it would bother some people.
A lot of my laughing came from the fact it was carbon copy of the anime and so that made it more hilarious than it probably was xD For example the beach scene was Yoshizawa Ryo xD

OMG THE SKIRT SCENE! xD Holy shit!! I was dying!!!
I love the sister, she's hilarious!
I honestly laughed so hard at this at points.
The faint scene, the cross dressing scenes, O! and the throwing the paper in the conbini scene was both funny and skillful! xD
But some of the shots were really... off beat and felt weird being there but I guess it just goes with the style of film it is.
O and Kasimu from Ninninger was in this! She looks more attractive with long hair.
"Weeeeeesu" xD

Library Wars [2013 - Japan]
8/10

Didn't know how this would work but was set up and explaining straight away =]
12 min in and Nana is already pissing me off.... If you wanna protect books then pay attention god dammit!!! She's so fucking cocky -_-
YEAH BEAT THE SHIT OUTTA HER! She's so fucking stupid. He doesn't hate you!
Amazing fight chorerography in this film! Like DAMN good choreo.
Okada's 'Bitch Please' face is spot on xD
Oooo he slapped her! TOO RIGHT! I would've too!
Okada is sexy! Didn't he just get married too? *searches* nope still unmarried but taken.
And the romantic interest developes and begins in a tent! xD
Of course he's her prince! Cos that wasn't an obvious plot 'twist' hehe
I don't understand the sanction thing...  you can't fight against government sensorship legally right?! o_O ... Oooo! So if they wanna take a library's books, they have a certain amount of time to 'steal' the books and in order to protect the books, the library people fight! I see!!! Interesting...
Fukushi asked her out?!
Wait, so you're allowed to take the banned books out of the library?! Then what's the point of the sensorship then? You're not allowed to own them but are allowed to read and borrow them?! There is no logic to this movie =S
DAMN THOSE MOVES!
Would've been better as a drama cos I want more but that's just me.
The main romance needed more development in my opinion, it seemed to change all too suddenly.
Sota's figure in those uniform shirts though <3
I can suspend my disbelief but yeah the logic of it all is a little wobbly.
Acting was good.
Comedy was good.
Story was good.
Action scenes were awesome!

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed those reviews xD I do apologise for the language. I think I'm gunna try and do a non-swearing review next time as a challenge xD I am now going to go and watch Assassination Classroom and Kabukichou Love Hotel I think now. it's only 8pm and on my day off so I can easily fit in two movies right! ^_^

Have you seen any these? Want to see? What did you think? Any recommendations?
