This is my third update of this series of the year and also my third update of it in less than a week (I've wrote all three posts in a week but the times they come out might be different)! But I am determined to catch up! As always, everything except the 'Overall' sections are (possibly) full of SPOILERS!

Corpse Party [Japan - 2015 5/10]
Not gunna lie this actually creeped my out. And it reminds me a lot of Jinroh Game. Jinroh Game and this movie are made in the same way. They're both (at least appear) low budget, have actors in it that are more well known on stage, and have this dark, chase-game about them. So yeah it's not the best produced movie and it's not the most award winning performances but this is suspensful and I enjoyed it while I watched it and I've actually felt the urge to rewatch it a few times since (just like Jinroh - but we all know I'm on a no-rewatching rule this year *cries*).
Also IKEP!!! <3 But at the time I watched this it was SO weird for me to hear him speak in his normal voice. He does a lot of DEEP voices on stage so I was used to that, so hearing him in this I was like 'OMG!!! So weird!!!' But also he was hot as hell in this! My dirty mind was trailing off cos like IkeP.... in an abandoned school.... hmmmm....I could help him try and 'find' his sister..... you see where my mind is trailing off to?
The deaths and stuff were pretty gory and I think there was at least one which made me feel a little ugh... ^_^
The ending rather confused me though but turns out it's explained better in the game. I was so shocked when they'd got back and I was happy but then BOMB! NO IKEP! IKEP is gone! All that's left of him are his arms and they're TWITCHING! So turns out he gave his piece of paper to one of the girls and used a fake one and that's why he couldn't get back. Why you sacrificing yourself for a GIRL?! xD

Overall: Not the best made movie production and quality but I was definitely creeped and freaked out (I am NOT a horror person) and IkeP was just sexy the entire time <3 But that ending was so confusing and hurtful though!

The Liar and His Lover [ Japan - 2013 8/10 ]
This is one of the films were I go in without any knowledge of what it's about, except that Sato Takeru is in it. I was pleasantly surprised the this was about music and I like how it dealt with some (possibly real) dark secrets and things that go on in the music business. I really liked Sato' character and I could really feel his emotions and I felt I could relate to him in a way. I feel we're lead to dislike Kubota's character through out the movie until we see the flashback of how he joined the group. I remember not disliking him at all and I feel I saw the same sadness in his character as what Sato's character was going through, which made them really similar and I really liked their rocky relationship and I wanted to see more of their relationship. I liked the relationships between all the guys in general in this. I really enjoyed Miura Shohei's and Sato's friendship! It was really nice ^_^ the only thing I didn't really buy was his relationship with the girl. I felt this movie could've stood on its own without the romance. There was enough drama and stuggles going on between the guys that she wasn't needed. BUT then again you could say 'yeah but it's because of her that all the boys problems got sorted' which I can understand but just... We all know I'm not a romance person unless I'm specifically and purposely watching a romance aka. Heroine Shikakku, LDK, and Orange. And I know this is strange but I felt VERY uneasy with the fact that Sato's character had already graduated HS but he was dating like a 16 year HSler, it just didn't settle with me at all even though there's probs a 4 year difference between them at max. But I don't know why! xD
Some things I wanna fangirl about: Miura Shohei singing! <3 And Kubota with a guitar! And why isn't this band real?! I hope they at least brought out a few songs as part of the movie promotion cos DAMN I'd love to see this group as a legit band! OH! I was also plesantly surprised to see Yoshizawa Ryo pop up in this! ^_^ But his role was too short =[
Finally the ending is very 'decide for yourself' which annoyed me a little but that's a very true Japanese style of ending a movie or a drama (they've done this ending in YamaNeko and Himura Hideo too this season -_-). This style of ending just isn't for me, but I can accept it, just about >.<

Overall: I definitely needed more Sato x Kubota in this xD but I really enjoyed thiss greatly and I like how it was about music and the darker themes of the music industry, it's a sweet story, amazing voices and a few tears were dropped.

The Magic Hour [ Japan - 2008 9/10 ]
First thing I noticed straight away when I watched this: Amazing music! I really enjoyed the music in this - and you'll soon see that I loved a lot of this movie. I feel the opening was very unique too. The whole set, the music, the costumes and look had a very 1920s-esque (maybe? I could be VERY wrong with my time styles) feel/theme to it! It definitely reminded me of maybe Film Noire spy, mystery but with the dark themes cut out and comedy added in.
This cast was amazing too! So many big names and they all fit the characters perfectly and the performances were top notch. There's several scenes that I can perfectly remember! For example when Sato Koichi reacts the same scene for the third time xD It just got funnier everytime he had to redo the 'scene' xD
Even the little things were genius in this movie! For one thing, they did a very 'An Inspector Calls'-esque trick where they didn't show a person's picture (he's a mysterious character the entire filme) to the audience, it was always shown between the characters and the audience never got to see who this person was until the actually showed up, which I loved! I love how meta this film was too!
I literally have nothing back to say about this movie other than I need more and I'll definitely be watching and keeping an eye on the directors work - yes I was THAT impressed by this movie!
Ohhh one last quick note: the wine spilling scene? Visually beautiful!

Udagawachou de Matteyou [ 2015 - Japan 6/10 ]
The concept of this story was so interesting: A guy struggling with his like for crossdressing and how the ONE person at school who figures him out, actually falls for him. I really like how the story began and I also like how it progressed and how Mario's character was constantly trying to get the main guy to accept who he is, and it learn that crossdressing is fine and the topic it dealt with and how it was handle satisfied me a lot.
I love the sister's school girl uniform scene and how they're trying to be quiet in the bathroom ^_^ This movie had a lot of cute moments and I am actaully jealous at the nice girls clothing he has! It's all a lot better quality that what I wear! And OMG! When Mario's character went clothes shopping with the MC and he was so enthusiastic and was like 'you like this dress right? Then buy it! There's nothing wrong' <3 Mario's character was so honest and so cute <3 and had such patience for the MC while the MC was figuring himself and everything out.
There was just ONE scene that I was not happy with and it was the almost attempted rape scene. It's not needed but for some reason it's a compulsory troupe needed in Japanese romance films, especially gay ones -_- but at least it was an 'almost attemoted' and not an actaual rape.
I felt the pacing of the film was a little fast in the beginning and I wish we'd gotten more character and relationship development and more time to really get a long and chunky story out of this.
But the ending was great so no worries!!
PS I was SO shocked to learn that Mario is the same age as me! He looks SO much older than me in this at least!

Overall: This was so cute and I love how Mario's character was just the sweetest and so supportive! I really like the topic they dealt with and I like how they dealt with it. I wish there'd been more time so we could've learnt about the characters more and I wish we'd had more time to develope their relationship, some parts did feel a bit rushed.
PS. Subs for this are not out yet and I'm currently working with those that ARE making the subs.

Senpai to Kanojo [ Japan - 2015 8.5/10 ]
Let's get the negative out of the way shall we? I 100000% do not like this actress' face. I cannot stand it. Yoshine Kyoko has the face of a (atleast) 30 year old - that's how old she looks to me. And she hs dead eyes are times too. I know it's not her fault she was born with an older looking face and the occasional dead eyes stare, but I just can't. Phew! The bad part is out of the way! Let's get to the fangirling!!
Unlike the mess that was Omotesando Choir (sorry tbscreenrider), I REALLY liked her character in this! It might have something to do witht the fact that her character is EXACTLY how I was (and possibly still am) in high school and growing up. She reflects me SO well. So if you wanna know what type of kid I was and what I possibly still am like, what this film. But I will warn you; it's not a pretty personality. But because I could totally see myself in her (which is the first time I've EVER seen myself in a character including all films, books, manga, TV that I've seen up to now), I related immediatly and enjoyed seeing her do things that I too would've done. But I can totally understand if people watch this movie and completely depise her because she is very stupid and selfish. BUT I couldn't help but be like 'holy shit that's exactly me!' the entire time and I thoroughly squealed and fangirled whenever she did something that completely matched me xD
Now lets talk about the little cutie of the hour: Shison Jun <3 I really liked his character in this and his voice is so cute!! And his smile!!! <33 (ah damn I really wanna rewatch this now). The KabeDon scene was cute too! HAHA one of my notes literally says 'JunJun is perfection' which clearly shows I was happy with his performance and his character in this. I remember this movie really persuaded me to become his fan (but we all know I'm being careful and trying to hold back on obsessing over everyone other than Kame and Tomo - but IkeP is still fighting for me love seriously - since Youchan decided to leave and it hit me harder than usual) and I'll definitely keep my eye on his acting career cos I do wanna see more of his talent.
I will admit though that the story isn't the most creative. It has a very stereotypical Japanese HS romance plot where he's in love with Aoi-san who is his senpai and the entire story he tries to come to terms that she doesn't accept him. A story we've ALL seen before but for once, I enjoyed the predictability. Everything else in this movie is so good that you can easily just ignore how simplistic this story is and that it's a story that's been done a billion times before.
Oh and Aoi-san was annoying and insensitive as FUCK! Why and how he liked her I have no fucking idea. She just uses him for emotional support the entire time! But at least she realises in the end - thank god!
OH!!!! And we got at least two kisses in this movie!! Which was great <33
The main negative of this movie is the ending. The movie is strong up to that point. The ending really loses it a bit because the two main characters just avoide each other for like months and then the last 10 minutes the get back together SO easily and it's like 'you know you need to talk things through and stuff before you just RUSH back together' but y'know HS romance ain't supposed to be that serious right and it's a very pure heart film. But yes the ending let it down.

Overall: Yoshine's face annoys me, it's has a standard Japanese HS romance plot, and the ending let it down but everything else was so cute, so pure, so heartwarming!! I related immensly to the main girl character which enhanced my enjoyement of the film, and JunJun is just so <3333 in it! I enjoyed this a lot!! I already wanna rewatch this.

Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai SP [ Japan - 2015 8.5/10 ]
I thought I'd already revied this on my blog but for some reason I cannot find the post about it at all! Did I fuck up? Oh well here it is coming to you like 4 months late!!
I found this absolutely hilarious!! From the moment it starts to the moment it ends I was either laughing or squealing! Just omg this was made and aimed for me! I loved this SO hard! From the get go we get this sadistic Back prince (Nakajima Kento) who just torments our poor girl protagonist the entire time and the way he does it is mainly very sexy and very like 'oooohhhhh!!! You don't have to ask twice' but of course she doesn't wanna abide by him cos from the get go she hates him xD And omg literally 5 minutes into part one of the SP and he does like 5 ridiculous Kabe-dons xD And holy shit when she just cut his hair when it got caught on her jumper xD DAMN!! GIRL! xD
Then we have the White prince (Chiba Yudai <3) who is just so ideal and beautiful and caring and always looking out for her (even though it turns out his intentions in the beginning were just to tease and annoy Black prince), and (sidenote) I really liked his cardigan! I love how towards the end he actually does fall for her and does get serious.
Which leads me to Black and White's relationship. OMG these two should seriously just ditch the girl and date each other; Sexual tense everywhere! And ontop of that they share a room! (The movie makes them even more gay towards each other xD). Seriously they're childhood friends, and end up competing for this girl which means they're arguing with each other and doing the whole standing really close to each other during serious moments and it's like 'just kiss'!!!! xD SO MUCH TENSION <3 And it's great to see how even though they are the Black and White prince, it's great that their personality are actually the opposite of the colours they've been assigned. So even though Kurosaki is the black prince he's actually very caring and very sensitive and thoughful, and even though Shirakawa is painted as the white prince, he's actually very manipulating and fake and dark xD
The main girl herself (Komatsu Nana) unfortunately also has the same flaw as Yoshine Kyoko: the has dead-eye syndrome which really ruins her acting. When she doesn't have dead eyes she absolutely fine and I liked her character and her journey and she was amusing to me. But when her dead eyes showed, I just couldn't. I know this is all very shallow and awful of me to rip two girls looks to pieces but in all honesty, these types of HS genres are created mainly TO showcase attractive people and most people go because they want to see attractive people. So there. I know, I'm an awful human being and I'm going to hell *sits in a corner*. I really liked how differently she acted towards the Black Prince and the White Prince xD it was really great.
And can I just say: So much kissing and sexiness and squealing from me occured while watching this! It definitely doesn't shy away unless most HS romance dramas where it's usually kepy very children friendly - this one sure as hell isn't! It feels more realistic of highschoolers with the kissing and everything xD and it was very enjoyable to watch ;) and all the chin grabbing <3
Some little things I wanna compliment: I really liked the yellow cardigan side character. I thought he was a cutie. I really liked the scene where she was forced to meet her old classmates and how the two princes came into to save her at the end <3 I also really liked towards the end where they both Kabe-don her and ask her to choice between them ^_^ Also Kurosaki-kun's piano!!! <3 omg so beautiful!
When I finished this 2 part special I was immediately like: I NEED MORE!!! And had to wait two months for the film to come out =[
Overall: I loved every moment of this! It's hilarious, ridiculous and all so sexy <3 I love all the characters and the actors in this and it had me squealing like a fangirl a LOT! In a way this plays out every girls fantasy of being outright fought over by two guys xD I found every moment of this and I could not wait to watch me. << I have since watched the film xD
---
And that's 6 more reviews done!! I think I have ONE more batch in this series to do before I've fully caught up so long as I don't watch and finish anything before them xD Let me know all your thoughts, opinions and fangirlings below!
