I don't know if you remember or not but I made this post right at the beginning of the season and I talked about what tv and anime I would focus on this season. So now that the winter season is well and truelly over with, let us look at what I accomplished (and didn't) during the season!

The first thing I had on the list was to watch all the SPs that had caught my interest in my Upcoming Winter Doramas post. I'm sorry to say that I only managed to watch ONE of the four SPs I had written down. I had Cho Gentei Nouryoku, Botchan, Ballerino Keiji and Josei Sakka Mysteries Utsukushiki Mitsu no Uso on my list and only managed to watch Ballerino Keiji (review is hopefully coming out within the week!) which is a little fail on my part but I think I've made up for it, as you will see as we go on....

Next we had YamaNeko which I watched and thoroughly enjoyed! (9 out of 10) You can see my review of it here.
Moving onto Himura Hideo; I also watched this entirely and enjoyed it entirely! (8.5 out of 10) Review here.
The fourth item was Watashi wo Hanasanaide... omg what a waste of time that was. 2 out of 10, rage enfilled review here.

Then we have the Tokusatsus:
- KR Ghost which I've decided not to continue until we're at least over the 25 episode mark (and I got spoiled for March 27th episode on tumblr and while it did spark my interest, I was like 'well now I don't need to find out what's going on for a little while longer' oopsies?) and I'm just gunna marathon the episodes and hopefully it'll allow me to enjoy the series.
- SS Ninninger finally finished and man that was a waste of time too. That ending seriously! (Review here).
- Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger started and I am loving it! I am very happy with it's progress so far and I already feel like we have an actual story and things are already becoming dire! ^_^

Finally I wanted to watch Konoudori (and then if I had time Angel Heart and Downtown Rocket). Konoudori I finished and I absolutely adored and it break and repaired my heart many, many times (review here). I didn't get to continuing Angel Heart or Downtown Rocket because I am REALLY not in the mood for either of them atm =/ but I do intend to complete them eventually ^_^

Now we have the anime and I had three on my list for this season: Sushi Police, Prince of Stride and Jormungand.
Sad to say I was exceedingly disappointed with Sushi Police and dropped it after about 3 episodes (review). Because Sushi Police was so disappointing, I replaced it by watching Boku Dake ga Inai Machi which I enjoyed a lot and I was completely hooked on and was a MUCH better improvement and was completely worth my time! <3 (review)
Prince of Stride was freaking amazing and I cried and enjoyed it so much and I'm SO happy it's getting stage plays! But I seriously need a secon season ASAP. Also Japan: Prince of Stride is popular as HELL but there's still like ZERO merch out for it at Animate - sort yourself out! (review).
Jormungand was part of my 'completing my on hold list' and I completed it and I have to say, it wasn't to my taste completely. Psst. Turns out I didn't write this on my 'reviews to write' list so this one will be out in the future. (4 out of 10)

That's that one post covered. And now I will show a list of EVERYTHING I watched this winter season and their ratings! Hopefully by the time this post is up, ALL my reviews for ALL of them should be up on my LJ ^_^ I am very proud that I managed to watch a lot of anime before seeing their stage play counter part, and I'm also happy I managed to complete 3 things off my 'On Hold' anime list. It's also great that I already have so many 9 out of 10 watches! But not had any 10 out of 10s yet, but the year is still young! I seriously need to get out of this anime-phase I'm currently in though cos I need to get some doramas DOWN xD

Anyway here is the list:

Overall: This had mystery, suspense, action, comedy and the casting is amazing and the story has some shocker twists and it's such an enjoyable watch! If you wanna see amazing acting from Kamenashi Kazuya, this may be one of the best roles he has ever done! OH! If you like cats too then watch it! xD Cos y'know neko = cat xD I enjoyed this thoroughly and I cannot wait to get this on DVD and yes I will defo get the dvds! But before that time I will attempt to read the (4) books of it <3
Overall Rating: 9/10 - my favourite drama of Winter 2016!!

I've finished all my anime for the season! Granted it was only 2 anime but here we go!

Boku Dake ga Inai Machi [ Japan - 2016  9/10 ]

Overall: Entertaining, suspensful, mysterious (it's especially mysterious if you're not very logical and don't pick up on the hints about the murderer), and I could not stop watching! There are some moments that seem very stupid and illogical but pushing that aside, I loved this so much and the ending is amazing! Also Satoru x Kenya! <3

Prince of Tennis Stride [ Japan - 2016  8/10 ]

Overall: I enjoyed every minute of this and I love the concept of the sport and really wish it was a real sport! I enjoyed the characters and the races (the animation is also amazing!) and I need more!

One final one I want to mention is Sushi Police. I got about 3 episodes into the anime before dropping it. I didn't like the animation, I didn't like how it was set in America and the conept itself was interesting but wasn't executed well in my opinion. The shorter animes tend to not be that great anyway. So I stopped watching it.

Here is my first Winter 2016 review! I finished this one first so it's only fair! The winter season has officially ended for 90% of the stuff airing ^_^

Overall: This dorama is NOT sci-fi, it's NOT dystopian, it's just a depressing love triangle with two actors I dispise and one actress who didn't get a moment to really shine. It's depressing to the core which, while fitting for a winter dorama, it's just ugh... to much. And the main topic or element of the drama enraged me a lot!
Overall Rating: 2/10

I have finally decided what I will definitely watch this season! There were over 16 things on my previous Winter 2016 post, and I've narrowed it down!




1. All the SPs. Each SP is no more than 3 hours so I can get through those in one day (as in one episode for one day) ^_^ So Obochan, Detective Ballerina, Damashi Banashi, Jungle Fever, Jossei Sakka etc.



2. YamaNeko - this one was obvious no? xD The first episode was SO good!



3. Hiruma Hideo no Suiri - Because I've seen captures and it looks so good! And I need more Kubota in my life <3



4. Watashi wo Hanasanaide - Yes I hate Miura BUT I love Ayase and I've not seen her in ages! So this <3 Also it's based on a worldwide British/Japanese novelist's book which I really wanna read too.
5. KRGhost, SSNinninger and SSZyuoger - these are year long shows so naturall I'm going to continue them.
6. Konoudori - I can finally finish all the shows I had to put on hold last season and I'm going to start with this one! After this will either be Angel Heart or Downtown Rocket.

So in total that'll be (at the most) 7 doramas that I'm watching at one time. That's just about copeable xD

If I have ANY other time, I also wanna get through JunJun's Sentai Ressha series ^_^ Funnily enough if a SS or KR series is already complete, it only takes me about two weeks to get through all the episodes.

As for anime I'm going to limit myself to two winter series' and one need to catch up and/or finish, so I've decided:



1. Sushi Police - how does this NOT interest you?!



2. Prince of Stride - I need more sports anime in my life xD



3. Jormungand - This is the first series I've decided to move from my 'On Hold" (it's embarassing how many I have there) to 'Watching'.

And that is my life! So in total I'll be watching 10 things at one time but luckily most of them are airing and all of different days so SHOULD be copable... we'll see xD
