HAPPY FRIDAY AND APRIL FOOLS! But this is NO April Fools! It's a review -- for real!!
Let's talk about one of the best things that was on TV this season!! I only watched 3 doramas but I believe this show was loved by most people anyway xD
Beware: SPOILERS!

Oh man this was SO good! Even my coworkers were watching it and we'd fan girl about it every week! OMG where to start....
First the casting!! EVERYONE WAS STRONG!!
Kamenashi is perfection in this role and finally proved once again that he CAN act and that Second Love was a massive failure that we'd all rather forget xD He played this character SO well who was VERY dynamic - he had the job of being able to switch between being serious, being funny and being a cat and his transition between all three were perfectly timed and thoroughly enjoyable! His stunts in the show were great too, though of course I doubt he did them ALL but I can tell a Kamenashi backflip when I see one <3 Yamaneko himself was mysterious, hilarious and had a WHOLE lot of heart and omg that scene towards the end in the final episode!! I was in STREAMS of tears!!
Next we have Nari-chan (I call him Nari-chan cos I can never remember the rest of his name for some reason!), I mean Narimiya Hiroki. His character was funny and interesting too! I really love how he got dragged into the Yamaneko business and how he was essentially and literally their maid who they pushed around and forced to do stuff xD It was hilarious seeing the YamaKatsu duo at work!! But OMG the TWIST in episode 8/9!!! HOLY MOLY! OMG! I mean I should've expected it but it took my (and most people I think) by complete surprise!! And omg his birthday celebration was SO heartwarming and he was crying and I was crying and <333 I loved Nari in this (he does brilliant in whatever so xD).
Next we have Hirose Suzu who, naturally cos it's me, I didn't like straight away (cos she's a woman and I'm like that towards women), but her acting and the character herself made me fall in love with her! Suzu is a very popular actress here and I'm just starting to see why. I won't go out of my way to watch her stuff but I'll definitely keep an eye on what she has and will star in. I love that her character was a hacker! <3 and I love how YamaNeko took her under his wing and really helped her grow <3 Also that scene in the final episode when she's yelling at YamaNeko! Once again I was in streams of tears!!
Of course there was also Sasaki Kuranosuki, Kitamura Yukita and Otsuka Nene who are all veteran actors and did surperb in their roles! And I really like how Otsuka got a spotlight in showing that older women can be badasses too which was great! Surprisingly Nanao did a good job in this too - I was weary at first cos we're all so used to her played a bitch but by the end of the drama I'd forgotten the character on screen was being played by Nanao and it was a nice calm character for us to see her play. So congrats Nanao, you've changed my mind on what your skills are like as an actress ^_^
And I daren't even touch on the amount of amazing guests that starred in this!! Everyone was SO perfect in this seriously! <3
Now the story itself - I've already describe quite a bit of it from talking about the casting and characters so I'll keep this part short. There isn't a weak link in this story at all! (wait there is but I'll get to it!) It was so mysterious and had shocker twists and paced well and I love how the mysteries slowly trickled out and how we got flashbacks of YamaNeko's past through the who thing and the main mystery of Yuki was great and the reveals were even better! I really enjoyed the plot and the story in this <3
Seriously, everything from the last 10 minutes of episode 8, ALL the way to the very end, I could NOT stop watching! Shocker, after shocker and I was either gasping from shock or crying cos it was sad (seriously the fire in episode 9!! I didn't believe they'd perished but it still struck me in the heart!) or laughing from the catness and YamaNeko' stupidity <3
The only downfall (and everyone agrees with me) is the ending. It's VERY opened ended and some (big) mysteries WERE left unanswered and as soon as it finished the internet blew up with 'we'll get a movie?!?!' rumours, so fingers crossed on that one cos we all definitely need more and we some things answered!
The music is very playful and very enjoyable and I LOVE how they used a classic theme for the opening credits xD Also KT's song for the theme is love <3
What else can I talk about... Just watch this drama seriously!

Overall: This had mystery, suspense, action, comedy and the casting is amazing and the story has some shocker twists and it's such an enjoyable watch! If you wanna see amazing acting from Kamenashi Kazuya, this may be one of the best roles he has ever done! OH! If you like cats too then watch it! xD Cos y'know neko = cat xD I enjoyed this thoroughly and I cannot wait to get this on DVD and yes I will defo get the dvds! But before that time I will attempt to read the (4) books of it <3
Overall Rating: 9/10 - my favourite drama of Winter 2016!!
