I'm finally back! After this time we will be completely up-to-date with everything I've watched so far this year, which means I've watched way too little so far this year and need to crank it up! So do enjoy, there are some rants and some raves, but remember POSSIBLE SPOILERS!

Akumu-chan SP [Japan - 2014]
Quickie Review: 6/10
This was a nice little return to the Akumu-chan world. The mystery/case wasn't so good but that ending definitely left a lot of speculation and intruge for the film!

The Greatest Love [South Korea - 2011]
Quickie Review: 8/10
I remember getting part-way through this and worrying that it was going to be another cliche, boring romance drama from Korea and while it was very predictable and had the usual 'second main male lead never gets the girl, main lead guy is a bit of an ass, main lead girl isn't good looking' it had a charm to it that kept me watching it. It was funny and the ending was really nice!

Ouroboros [Japan - 2015]
Quickie Review: 8/10
This drama seems to go one of two ways with people: 'This is best drama ever!' or 'This drama was so overhyped and absolute shit!' and, luckily, I was on the positive side. I loved this drama! Yes it wasn't perfect but dammit Ikuta Toma and Oguri Shun can act Like seriously act! The action scenes were amazing, their relationship was amazing, the mystery was very interesting (even if the truth of the mystery was a little bleh), and homg I cried SO hard quite a few times! I loved it!

The King's Face [South Korea - 2014]
Quickie Review: 6/10
This drama has SO much potential and fell flat quite a few times. While watching this I thought 'Finally Shin Sung Rok will get his moment and won't be a bad guy!' how very effing wrong I was -_- ontop of that, the King was fecking stupid as hell and his concubines weren't any better! Most of the characters had so much potential but just lacked the ball of really fucking shit up! Tbh, I don't remember the ending =/ it has been over 2 months since I watched this but I imagine it was the predictable ending. The romance was a little stupid too.

Kill Me, Heal Me [South Korea - 2015]
Quickie Review: 8/10
This and Mozu Season 1 are my top 2 dramas of this year that I've seen so far (even though this only has an 8 out a 10, but I hath my reasons coming)! Holy crap this was good! It was funny but also tremendously heartbreaking! The music was amazing - damn that one song! The mystery was so good! The romance was pretty enjoyable, especially the love triangle! The ending was satisfactory (not amazing). The only reason it doesn't get 10/10 is because I had SO many theories about the mystery of his childhood that, in comparison to what actually happened, were a thousand times more juicy and better! My idea of what the mystery was, was a lot more corrupt than what it turned out to be xD It was funny, cute, suspenseful, interesting and heartbreaking! All the good things you want in a drama ^_^ The acting was flawless and I loved the characters so much! Especially Shin Se Gi, Anh Yo Na and Oh Ri On! Wish they'd had more screen time.
Why did it lose 2 marks on the rating? Five reasons:
1. I was expecting it to be a lot more comedic, if not, comedy central.
2. I wish it'd been about 5 episodes longer so we could've spent more time with the other personalities. And it ended a bit rushed I think.
3. Too much crying! I swear Cha Do Hyun is cried every 5 minutes! I mean I can completely understand why and can 100% sympathize why and it's amazing how the actors could produce so many tears in one episode (congrats to their acting skills!) but it really was too much.
4. My idea of what the 'past incident' was, was a lot more corrupt and juicy in my mind and it would've really messed up Do Hyun-Ri Jin-Ri On's relationship big style!
5. The MC female annoyed me quite a lot. When she was crying hard I was trying so hard not to die of laughter at how pathetic she sounded. And her constantly red upper lip and lip shape annoyed me, but that's me getting picky xD
I don't normally rewatch KDramas but I think this will definitely get a rewatch from me in 5/6 years time =]

And now I'll quickly mention the two that I've dropped and I feel do deserve some reasons from me as to why I dropped them...

Second Love [Japan - 2015]
Quickie Review: Dropped after 3 epsiodes - 2/10
Ready for the rant? [Mini rant here if you don't have time] I. Hated. This. So. Much!I stopped 20 minutes into episode 3.
Positives:

Ready for the rant? [Mini rant here if you don't have time] I. Hated. This. So. Much!I stopped 20 minutes into episode 3.
Positives:
- The location(s): Beautiful! I wanna visit them all! Especially the place where he did his dancing scene in epsiode 1.
- The entire cast (bar the main female) is amazing in their roles. Their acting was great, even if I hated their character thoroughly (< which is a reason why I stopped watching. Way too annoying)
- Kamenashi Kazuya: Because it's Kame <3 And I know loads of people burn on him for being a crap actor but I have always thought he was a good actor! And even in this his acting was good!
- The actual messages of the dorama such as believing in yourself, were really good messages!
BUT Negatives:
- The actual messages of the dorama such as believing in yourself, were really good messages!
BUT Negatives:
- Misadvertisement. This drama was pushed as an 'adult love' drama but really it's just a jdrama that happens to have lots of kisses and sex scenes in it and that's called 'adult love' according to Japanese media -_- There appears to be nothing adult like about it e.g. telling each other all your problems (which the characters don't), discussing serious things (which the characters don't), personality over looks (< which is the basic difference between a child's love and an adult's love) and many other things that make a relationship an adult relationship were not present in this drama.
- The main female lead is a 15 year old immature girl in a 35 year olds body. Holy shit. If I see her pout one more time or have her pose a face like a deer in a headlight one more time, I wanna gunna go over to Japan myself and punch the actress in the face! She's SO immature, so dumb and SO passive! Pissed me off to NO END!
- Cringey sex scenes
- No real chemistry between the leads.
- Hella frustrating to watch because it's such a childish relationship and unrealistic of an actual adult relationship.
- Relationship built on sex alone and there's nothing really dense or meaningful about their relationship except 'I feel shit about myself, you feel shit about myself, let's like each other and have sex' is what is appeared to just be.
So yes, I dropped this drama cos all I did for 2 episodes and 20 minutes was get angry, stressed and sigh a lot at what happened!! -_- even thinking about it now raises my blood pressure so much! GRRRRRR!!!!

Blood [South Korea - 2015]
Quickie Review: Dropped after One Episode - 6/10
I don't have a rant for this, just that I've heard not many positive things about this drama and it was actually okay but at the time of watching it, it was just something I wasn't interested in watching, and I still aren't. Also the first episode was a bit draggy.
