*spoilers for episode 8 preview*

I just had the craziest thought...

In the preview we saw L trying to write Light’s name in the Death Note... What if L succeeds and therefore Light dies and then L becomes Kira so it’s left up to Near to stop L in the final two episodes?!?!?!!?!?

I think I’ve just blown my own mind... and I hope I'm damn right!!
