Plot
Rookie investigator Shoko Kazuki has just returned from the U.S. after being trained by the FBI in the art of criminal profiling. Recruited by a newly-formed Crime Profiling Support unit (CPS) within the Metropolitan Police Department, Shoko gets to work cracking the department’s most frustrating cases which offer only scanty clues and no apparent motives. Still, she must apply all the behavioral and analytical tools of her trade to painstakingly build the criminal profiles that will lead her and her team on the right trail. A realistic depiction of the profiling process and forensic analysis, LADY exposes the sinister underbelly of society and sheds light on the murky landscape of the criminal mind.

    Review

    Another dorama that over a year later I finally got around to watching >< Now I have to admit, the reason I didn't want to watch this is because I'm not a big fan of Kitagawa Keiko >> yeah fans are gunna hate me but her acting doesn't excite me nor do her characters normally stand out. Yeah didn't like nor dislike her in Paradise Kiss (watched it for Yamamoto Yusuke, Kaku Kento and it was about fashion and the trailer made it look good), The Fast and Furious (I remember her in it though, which (tbh) can't remember her characters in anything else I've seen her in), Buzzer Beat (I remember her having nice hair in that dorama and that's it! I don't like her hair in Lady~ dorama), Tsuki no Koibito (didn't she play a stubborn girl in that? I don't remember her at all in Tsuki, all I remember is Chiling Ling and Kimura Takuya <3). So yeah, as you can tell. I'm not a lover of her, sorry to those that like her. But I have to say, she played a notable character this time around. It was nice seeing Kitagawa san be crazy and criminal like, but in the end, her character wasn't that great outside the 'pretending to be in the crminals shoes and what they did' moments. Moving on shall we? and back to the dorama itself. I like the CPS unit that was created, I enjoyed watching them uncover the crimes and why and how they happened ~ disliked that it was always Kitagawa san's characters that figured the criminal out fully.

    Right from now on, let's agree I can no longer mention her in this review ne? Or else I can feel myself SERIOUSLY bashing her past what I've already done << is that even possible =S Again, sumimasen to those that do like her.


    So there's the CPS and the rest of the characters are amazing! In the end, my favourite characters were Tsuge and Shinbori. We shall get to them laters.
    I don't really remember the theme tune to this (and I finished the show about 10minutes ago?) so I didn't really like that song. I also can't remember the soundtrack =S I'm not doing too good on this dorama am I?
    But I can understand why it got an average rating of 8.3/7%, it is a good dorama but it's one you just like watch... and it's quite predictable at times. I prefer police, crime doramas to make me think or be amazing at how they're figuring the criminal out or how the crime happened, that didn't happen here. You could guess what was going on and who the criminal was like 80% of the time. So they story didn't grab me but it was nice to watch...

    Discussed music... CPS Unit... Characters! Let's move to characters and actors xD
    Already mentioned Kitagawa Keiko and her character so next is...

    Kimura Tae ~ Her voiced annoyed me in this.. to whispery and her character was mysterious but not at a point I cared about, but she was great at teaching her subordinates a lesson and helped them work as a team so she was an alright character. Turns out she was in Hotaru no Hikari.... actually I think I do remember her in that! xD She was in MR.Brain, good good... She was in Densha Otoko?! o_O Woo! xD So I've obviously seen her about ^_^
    Hiraika Yuta ~ FREAKING LOVE HIM! I was SO shocked to see him this! I thought he'd fallen off the face of the earth after doing Tatta Hitotsu no Koi in 2007 << where I first met him xD Ahh I love him so much <3 He character was great too! Very flawed but very sweet but always fun to watch =D And the pants they made him wear <33 haha Yes, I unfortunately haven't seen him in anything since Tatta (2007) but turns out he's been in A LOT since then! He was in Proposal Daisakusen... OMG HE WAS! I saw that! Woo so he wasn't LOST after all >< He was in Daisuki too?! That dorama was too heart breaking for me to finish even though it was a great cast </3 But I haven't watched any of his doraas since 2008, so no wonder I though he'd dissappeard o_O I must watch some of his stuff now! xD ... HOLY CRAP KARINA WAS THE LEAD IN DAISUKI?! (The woman lead in Misake that I saw last) BLOODY HELL! NO WONDER DAISUKI was so heartbreaking! Just proves she can ACT! xD Moving on...
    Sudo Risa ~ Only seen her in this and she was really a minor character but she did a good job acting.. wait she was in Innocent Love? o_O and Densha Otoko?!  ... It's great when you discover they've been in things you've seen but you didn't notice them in at the time ^_^
    Kaname Jun ~ HOLY CRAP KANAME JUN!!! FREAKING LOVE HIM!!! He's great. Amazing actor and he didn't let me down in this! He and Yuta worked on 'Tatta' together so it was great to see them play completely different characters to what they played in Tatta and to see them get along! <3 Ahh Kaname, why you SO much older than me ='[ another one I'm too young for... o wells I can always look ;) But yeah, I loved his character central episode. His and Yuta's where the only times I got teary eyed.

    (Yeah proves how much the dorama didn't entrance me << I didn't cry ONCE and we all know I cry at EVERYTHING I watch o_O)

    Ooo he was in Kamen Rider? MUST WATCH! But I've seen him in.. OMG HE WAS IN CASSHERN?! Another reason to watch it now =D but carrying on... He was in Goemon << he was brill in it <3 Like I said he was in Tatta <3 He and Yuta were two of the reasons along with billions of others as to why it's my number one dorama <3 Ooo he was in RESCUE? Another reason to watch it xD He was in Perfect Report (I watched that recently and loved him in it <3). And he's in a few in 2011 (5 actually) that I'm planning to watch and have on standby so tis all good... KANAME JUN!!! <3333
    Yusuke Santamaria ~ Prefer his real name -__- (Nakayama Yusuke) He played Tsuge right? Holy crap Tsuga can adopt me ANY time! So mysterious and so brilliant and yet deep down he was SO supportive of the CPS and went out of his way to investigate and stuff <3 His episode made me upsets also. And actually there's a part with him in the last episode and it was seriously the only time I was like 'HOMG NO WAY!' So yeah. I think he MADE this dorama for me <3 He was amazing in it. What else has he been in... He's only been in MR. BRAIN that I've seen of him... I can imagine he was just as good in that too! xD Loved his hair in this dorama too haha o_O ADOPT ME! xD
    Ozawa Yukiyoshi ~ He's another that could adopt me! He was a meanie character in the begginning but he grew on me and loved him at the end <3 "You should treat me to a meal Senpai" ~ finale episode xD He and Tsuge should get together then adopt me! xD He's been in nothing else that I've seen o_O
    Hosoda Yoshihiko ~ YOKAI NINGEN BEMU! That's what I've recently seen him in! xD He normally plays a horrible character if I remember... he was in Q10 <3 O He was in JOKER! xD Liar Game 2 << OMG YEAH! xD Tokyo Dogs... Wow he's been in some brilliant stuff in this. He didn't play a major character in this but his character was a good guy and was a great supportive character who helped Tsuge san ^_^
    Tsurumi Shingo ~ I demand he has more screentime in this dorama! Amazing actor I love him and his character was so sweet and heartwarming in this <3 He can ALSO adopt me >< Now I got 12 daddies! o_O He's been in (that I've seen), Kurosagi << I remember him in that! Yukan Club, Atashinchi no Danshi ^_^ Otomen << OMG YEAH! He was good in that <3 Hana Kimi 2011 <33

    Now to guest stars ~ HOMG SUCH AN AMAZING CAST!
    DAIGO <3 He was brilliant in it!
    Daito Shunsike <3 I felt SO sorry for his character and he played his character TOO well! xD He did such a good job <3
    Yagira Yuya ~ Defo keeping an eye out for him now. I had a crush on him in this! haha
    Aikawa Sho ~ Legend <3 He's an amazing actor!
    Oshinari Shugo ~ Another great actor, he did GOOD in this too!
    Kazama Shunsuke ~ WOW sooooo doesn't look his age! Wow he's nearly 30! o_O He SO would suit doing a BL film.. seriously! When you see his episode you'll understand... he was in YOKAI?! WOO! Makes him even better ><
    Ikeda Tatsuhiro ~ Always does a good job with his characters! =] He was looking a bit old in this though compared to what I've seen him as =S

    So that's all done, now quick review:

    Characters: 7/10 ~ Pretty much it was like 3 mains and all the guests that made this dorama good!
    Story: 6/10 ~ Loved the idea of the CPS group, it's a crime thing so I like it, but why so much of... you know who I mean -__- why the lead, WHY?!
    Music: 2/10 ~ Don't remember it =S
    Overall: 5.5/10 ~ I don't think I've EVER voted a dorama this low before =S
    Recommend? Erm... I guess to crime lovers and Kitagawa fans. I guess Kaname and Yuta fans will be happily pleased too =D
    ReWatch? No. Not really.. unless I watch my own version which consisted of all Kaname, Yuto, Guest and Santamaria san parts xD

    Bloody knew it was Daito! It's sad at HOW well I can tell who the actors are ne? First Yokoyama from a minimal view of his body parts, then DAIGO and now Daito! xD

    They don't seem bothered that Shinbori hung up after a gunshot wound and isn't picking up him phone or anything! Yeah just leave the poor guy to die from lead poisoning -__-
    I didn't realise he liked her until episode 6! Was it obvious the whole time? I never normally pick up on these things the first time round =S
    She better stay away from Shinbori kun -__-
    YEAH! She better not like him back! xD
    Awww such a beautiful love story <3 I want Tsuge to be my daddy! xD Yet ANOTHER daddy for me! That's like.. 8 now? xD
