Monday night I spent my evening watching the hilarious Toei Hero Next. It’s like the third of it’s installment, at least for the gekidan heroes series:

STORY

Kinbara is in a writing slump which means Gekidan Bazooka are without scripts and things to perform until then, so they decide to try out being hosts at Club Jewel, but soon they get caught up in an attempted murder, but with no script to guide them, they have to improv. their way to figure out what really happened.

NON SPOILER

This was so fun. I laughter so hard for 2 hours straight. The scripted comedy, the improvised parts, the accidental mistakes and the aftertalk was ALL hilarious. I very much enjoyed myself and it was very refreshing to watch - I expected to be super tired after doing 3 stages and 2 events the week prior - but this was so easy to watch and so easy to be entertained and is a lot of fun! Baba Ryoma is just the king of being over-energetic and funny in an ugly way, Sho-san definitely controlled the AfterTalk and everyone was definitely onboard with whatever crazy requests and daily challenges (higawari) and improvs that came their way. I really hope they do a next install me. And it’s so freaking cool seeing the entire cast and going ‘holy moly they ALL did sentai!’ it’s badass having that realisation in the middle of the play.

When I first walked in, I realised I had an aisle seat... and THEN I realised it was a host set up on the stage... AND THEN I realised there were stairs leading up to the stage, and I was just like ‘oh shit please do not come my way and approach me’ ... my heart was racing anytime they came down the stairs or towards me o_O

So the past two days Tomo news/work has come out so of course I want to share it all with you here! ^_^ I'll go in date order rather than announced order though ^_^

1. Dorama starting January 20th on TX (Channel) ”三匹のおっさん3～正義の味方、みたび” which roughly translates to "Three Old Men Season 3: On Justice's Side" and he will be playing Iwashita Shingo as a guest role in Episode One. Official Website is here. Look how cute he is xD:

2. Dorama starting from February 19th. It's a Nihon TV x Wowow x Hulu crossover production (so will probably air on all three platforms) "Zenigata Keibu" / "Inspector Zenigata". He'll be in episode 1 and 2 as Tominaga Yuuichi. Official Website is here. This one actually looks and sounds REALLY good so I might watch this entirely xD No promo pics or anything out yet =[

So it appears most/all of my LJ posts have succesfully come over to DW! I think it took the server like 20 hours xD Yes that's how many posts I had on LJ! It's gunna take some time to get used to DW though... especially when it comes to customising my blog... I need to get rid of this god awful large text font first! 2015.02.02 Seto Koji Ameba News Article

Seto Koji is filled with emotion after the first day of his stage play is over, saying "I'm very happy"

(He's such a cutie!! xD)

The actor, Seto Koji, is currently part-taking in the stage play 'Mercury Fur'. After the first day finished succesfully, he posted to his blog 'I was able to make it through today, I'm very happy' overflowing with joy.

The play started on 1st February, the story of 'Mercury Fur' was written by English playwriter Phillip Riddly in 2005.
The play explores themes such as; the extreme situation that humans put in place in order to live and the repetition of cruel acts we perform. On the other hand, the writer also wanted to beautifully show 2 young people's painful craving for life and love but unable to obtain such a life, as well as craving for love in a way that would make your chest tighten.

It's the first time Japan has adapted this stage play and it being done through Shirai Akira's production. Seto and Takahashi will be portraying the protagonist's life. Seto Koji, alongside being happy, said "The world we're living in, what's happening in the world now, what happened in the past, and from now on what will happen, are things that this play will make you think about".

The play will continue until February 22nd, show your enthusiasm!

Read-A-Thon END

Well that didn't go so well..

Turns out my English vocab and reading speed (and distraction level) are all poor.

I only managed 310 pages!! 310! That's ridiculous! I know people that can read over 2000 in a week get through like 4 books and 2 novellas!

That is a ridiculously LOW number missie -_-

I didn't finish a book, (still on Mistborn Book One) and only read from page 178 ~ 488. 310 pages! I'm shocked... and disappointed...

Luckily, there is an official Read-A-Thon in July so looking forward to that AND I also wish to participate in Camp NaNoWriMo and GaiaOnline's Summer NaNoWriMo, both beginning in July! =] so got lots of plans and reading to do before then ^_^

Especially when my TBR (to-be-read) pile is larger than I thought and my story idea file is reaching almost 30 individual (and detailed) ideas.

OKAY so I am doing a Read-A-Thon this week. I missed the one in May as I've only just gotten back into serious reading this week (now that I'm finally ill-free for the first time in 3 weeks *finger crossed for the rest of the summer I am*).
SO, I plan this Read-A-Thon to be one week along and I will challenge five books, which should be a good ease back into reading (I hope) and should allow me to catch up to me Book Reading Goal of 2013 which I am currently 5 books behind - damn uni work getting in the way! -__- xD

Okay the books I am planning to read this week are:
Brandon Sanderson - Mistborn Book One: The Final Empire (Currently 178 pages into it)
Laini Taylor - Daughter of Smoke and Bone (Currently 180 pages into it)

Life Update

As we know I started my very first year of Uni this September =D
It's been like 3weeks and MAN been a blast already! ^_^

So here we go....

What's going on at Uni?
A lot of things!! xD

My classes?
VERY fun and very interesting!
The Japanese Language class moves very fast as we're the advanced class, it's great! xD Like on Monday we did time, numbers, asking how much something is, recapped the last lesson and learnt names of objects. Wednesday we reacpped mondays lesson then did days of the week, months, dates, years, hiragana test, in tutorial, I was taught by a 3rd year the -te form which you don't do til like second year ^_^ so loads going on there!
And outside I'm helping my friends in class B with their alphabets and with my friend we're practising kanji and watching Anime and making Japanese curry =D I need to start taking pictures again xD
Social?
Well I am a member of two societys: Japanese Culture and Anime/Manga. Both very good fun! Anime/Manga is very relaxed, great fun, watch Anime, debat over Anime, play games etc. in Japanese Society, today we had an introduction, watched a film, I talked with the committee on the way to the pub and had a few drinks with them ^_^

I'm like never home, like I got home at 3am yesterday after watching Anime at Martins since.. 8pm? haha and during the day I meet my other friends and we walk in town, go to the library and have fun etc.
All good!

I've been out a few times as well, so if you wanna know about those just ask xD

Ikemen Paradise 2011 ~ Episode 2

I've never capped SO much in my life! 84 in total o_O Be prepared?? xD

But first... to the positives:

1. Loved this episode also!
2. Very funny again xD
3. Featured Tomo in womens wear again! <3
4. Shohei fits Nakatsu perfectly!
5. Yukito is the perfect Senri!
6. Now that I've figured who Nanba-senpai is all I can say is.. KYAA!!

Negatives:

1. STILL hating Maede's voice ALOT! It's so squeeky and breaky and it's horrible!
2. I prefer 2007 Kagurazaka
3. WTF is with the Hibaru's?! I hate them all! That 12 year old shouldn't be with Tennoji and WTF with the shitty clapping and dancing?!

Neutral:

1. Prefered the kissing spree in 2007 but maybe/I hope more'll come later in 2011?? I hope! xD

Ikemen Paradise 2011 ~ Episode 1

So there's been a lot of stick about the new Hana Kimi, especially it's first episode... well my opinion is.. I FREAKING LOVED IT! I laughed ALL the way through!!
This could be because although I LOVE the 2007 Hana Kimi, I am treating Ikemen Paradise 2011 (as I'm calling it) - and the new Ouran and You're Beautiful - as a completely different dorama, but with the same plot: Girl pretending to be a boy. So yeah, I disbanded all disbelief, sat back adn watched and I was totally blown away from it, I love how different it is! Different school, different circumstances (it's closing) I love that they're like the bottom of all schools. I love how the actors have made the characters their own, I love that Sano has some feelings, I love he accepted to participate but then didn't - YAY! Go Sano! I love Shohei's take on Nakatsu, I love Tomo, I love the new Senri, I like how they kept the original soundtrack, nice natsukashii there! I LOVE Oscar! Especially his eyes! Not so keen on the new Blossoms though, but I'm not a liker of girls so in ANY situation it takes me ages to like a girl (in RL too!) so yeah LOVED IT!

For me there's like a BILLION Positives AND... about.... 3 or 4 negatives! So here I go = with screencaptures!! xD

BUT first with the negatives:
1. I hate the opening and ending theme songs.
2. Maeda just made me cringe all the way through it, her voice is horrible.
3. I dislike how they all became friends quickly, I think friendships should've been created slowly.
4. Maeda just told Sano straight away why she was there.. I would've prefer to it be discovered again...

I think that's all! Now onto screencaptures and positive comments!
