My review on The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor...

Brendan Fraser: Amazing as per usual, though he wasn't as fast at fighting this time round, but it is meant to be 14years after the last movie. I thought he was great.

John Hannah: Hilarious! I've never laughed at any of the other Mummys and this film was just hilarious, all thanks to John. He was super!

Jet Li: I didn't like him in this but his fighting was cool.

Maria Bello: Very very dissopointed. Like Empire Magazine said she replaced Rachel Wiesz (sp?) physically but in every other aspect, she failed, very bluntly. Maria Bello totally ruined Evelyn. In the first two Mummy's, Evelyn was a dizzy, funny, entertaining, adventerous woman but in this Maria made Evelyn stiff and boring...We want Rachel Back! Shame she and Luke Ford [Alex O'Connel] have already signed up for a FOURTH Mummy.

Luke Ford: Terrible. Him and Maria Bello completely ruined the movie for me so I just blanked them out for the whole of the movie [definitly worked and made it better]. He can't act, he [like Maria] has ruined Alex O'Connel. Alex was like his mum in The Mumym Reuturns, fun, a bit of a comedian and innocent. Luke Ford has made him stiff [just like Maria has made Evelyn] and takes things too seriously.
The soundtrack was amazing...it was a bit toned down from the original soundtrack but it is still the origianl music. So 9/10 for that.
Graphics were amazing, although the yetis were a dissopointment, so 8/10 for graphics.
Overall I think this movie deserves 8/10
It would have been 10/10 is Maria and Luke weren't in.
They were originally going to cast Edward Speelers for Alex O'Connel -- They Should Have! And they should have left the movie on hold until Rachel could have fit it into her shedule.
Anyway, enough of my rant.
