Sorry this is later than I promised!

I am gunna be honest. I was a little unhappy when it initially finished but I think that's because I was unfortunately surround by middle aged men who were distracting me cos they were either fidjitting or falling asleep so that naturally pissed me off to the max! But after thinking carefully about it and confirming what I thought the story was (cos that was something I could not get my head around), my review and opinion has turned out a lot more favourable. So let's begin!
The Definite Positives
I wanna talk about the stuff I found very enjoyable and/or amazing first!
All the aestestics were perfect and beautiful! Their costumers were amazing, well put together and looked SO good! My favourites were definitely Masamune's, Motonari's Katsuie's costumes! I also like the detail of Sen's top (it's bended slightly at the back so how they got that to work - probably with wood - was great!). Another aestetic was the use of lighting in the play and how they used the lights to show like special moves and everything! The lighting was very nice!! Then there's the actual action and choreography which I thought was splendid but I didn't half feel on edge during most of the fights because there are so STEEP stairs on stage! I was worried for most of the play xD But the choreography was great!! Especially with most of the weapons being hugeand unrealistic! Ooooo! Masamune also carried four samurai swords with him and for at least half of the play I was like 'it'd be cool if he could use all 6 of them' and low and behold he bloody did it for one of the fights!! I was like 'fuck yeah! THIS is what I wanted!!!!' it was so epic xD which reminds me, the sound effects and the sound effects timing was on point too! ^_^

I love how Rei's voice is very soft and beautiful for most of the play. It sounded SO nice. But also loved it when he character started to lose himself at the end and his voice get really manic and yelling. The difference between his soft and angry/yelling voice was awesome!

As for Shiramata, I think he did a great job! He wasn't on as much as I hoped but I really liked his character and his style of fighting - his weapon was certainly an interesting one! But I couldn't help but think 'please don't lose your voice' cos he yells a lot in character xD He was great! I loved his team as well and they called him Aniki <3 And of course, seeing a little bit of nipple and a naked stomach was enjoyable to see too xD During Shiramata's first scene (btw he's always accompanied by the Solidemo guys) was really great cos the SOLIDEMO guys walked through the audience and asked about 3 people who they were here to see. Two out of three said Shiramata xD and of course he was as happy as a bee ^_^ (shhh! That analogy works!)
Also my seat:

Now We get some Good and some Bad
There was an intermission which I really hoped they wouldn't do but thinking about how much action and 'sword' swinging they do, especially when some have more than one weapon and/or are very large weapons, I can understand why they'd need the 15 minute break to kinda get some energy back. But I officially dislike intermissions in plays - I remember Kame's play had two or three for some reason!!
This play turned out to be a lot more serious than I expected. There were about two comedy parts at the beginning when Sasuke and Yukimura were walking about and when Shiramata's crew were asking fans who they came for but besides that it was very serious. Which is odd to say its suppose to be based on a game so you'd think a bit more stupidity would gone on but oh well..
At the time I didn't completely understand the story so I was super confused at the end when Masamune and Yukimura attacked Nobunaga and the next thing we knew, he was with Blondie and in a mist like place and looked like he'd gone to collect him. But looking back now, I think it was more of a 'Ah I am dead because here I am with you who died about 5minutes ago' but after that is not explained to almost imply there'll be another installment (it is based off a game SERIES so they gotta leave doors opens right! xD). So I can forgive the ending now. But I definitely felt like the final battle was a bit rushed.

Back Right - Left: Most likely director or something, Mamoru, Ninja, Shiramata, Legend of Zelda wanna-be, Some guy I forgot, Fujita Rei, Nakagawa (SOLIDEMO), Yamaguchi (SOLIDEMO).

The Very Bad Points
Which brings me to probably my biggest irk of the show - why the FUCK did you put two females and a romantic plot line in?!?! It WASN'T NEEDED! Sure they looked great in their costumes but fucking hell. Why you got a squeaky, jumpy, annoying, chibi girl in a sailor costume who uses a bow, and a tough, deep voiced, gun-slinging woman WHO actually could've been a decent character but you made her a complete slave to this annoying bitch?!?!?! And why... oh FUCKING why did we get a random 15 minute romantic plotline?! It was a complete waste of time and did NOTHING for the story!!! And the main story is 'beaten Oda Nobunaga DOWN!' what has a ninja and a school girls romance got to do with it?! Ugh fucking hell.... just ugh,,, it's OBVIOUS this play is aimed at fangirls of the boys so why the FUCK you throwing that shit in? Ugh.... I need to calm (< I wrote this paragraph over a WEEK after I saw the play and this point of the story STILL pisses me off). Get the bitches OFF my stage!
The people around me.... omg I was unfortunately surrounded by GUYS. I had all of ONE girl next to me and then next to me and around me were all salarymen/office working guys... omg.... they distracted me SO hard cos they were fidjitting and falling asleep!! How the fuck could you fall asleep to that?! It's ACTION packed!! And unfortunately their VERY RUDE falling asleep and constant fidjitting distracted me SO much. So this is most likely why I left the theatre so miffed in the beginning. So it's not the play or the actors or the characters fault at all. It's the audience I was with. And audience is SUPER important in order to enjoy a play or concert. Just as much as the play itself! - Would you not agree? But yeah, I DO find it interesting but not surprising that the girls there were completely hooked while the guy audience either fell asleep or left.
I like Oda Nobunaga as an actual real life person and what he did so obviously I was excited to see him in this, but I felt (to say he's supposed to be the main bad guy) he didn't get enough screen time, but he definitely did hold the room when he was on stage, but I couldn't help but be worried whenever he was fighting cos the actor is like 40 plus so my heart was like 'don't fall down those stairs! Out of everyone, if you fall down, you are gunna be the ONLY person that'l end up in hospital! Everyone else is so young but you have to be extra careful!' xD which may sound ageist but I do understand that bones and such break easily as you get older. And he reactions might be slower than the others so he might not be able to catch himself if he did start to fall. And you all know what I feel about his ending too...
The AfterTalk
First: after the initial round of applause they all came out and obviously one or two of the members got to say something. Sasuke/Shiina took to the stage today and he started off by saying 'I have a story about Matsumura (Yukimura). Do you want the good story or the bad story?' and of course EVERYONE got excited xD So he started with the good story, as Matsumura's request, and he was talking about how Matsumura is always nice to the fans during the scene they have where the walk through the aisles. THEN he went onto the bad story and he was like 'I have two bad stories...' and of course Matsumura was like 'WHAT HAVE I DONE?!' and Shiina began... so the first story was. Every time just before the start a show, him and Matsumura do a friend handshake type of this and then pound their knuckles against each others chest and he was like (not direct quotes) 'look at this! Look! Your studs (on his gloves) dig into my chest every time and it hurts!' and Matsumura was like 'really?' and Shiina was like 'just put your knuckle against your chest' and so he tried it and was like 'oh yeah' xD
Then second story was (not direct quotes) Shiina/Sasuke: 'So today, like every other performance, I have to do the Z (seemingly it's written on Masamune/Shiono's outfit but can also coincidently stand for ZEPP Theatre xD) during one of our scenes, but TODAY you spent the entire scene talking and never told me that I could move, so I spent the entire scene like this *does the Z movement* and I was trying to get up after the scene and my legs were numb and I couldn't walk properly!' Matsumura: 'Really?' Shiina: 'Just try it now. Try it' So Matsumura/Yukimura gets into the Z. Shiina: 'No do it properly! Put your legs apart and have a straight back! ... Now stay there til I finish my story' *everyone laughs* I was too busy concentrating at Matsumura trying to do the Z with his body and saying 'this is actually difficult' (Shiina: 'Right!') that I missed the rest of Shiina's story but he finished it quickly. And then of course the entire cast were making sure Matsumura kept his position and THEN Inoue got his sword out to make sure Matsumura had a straight back that he did the Z properly and everyone was laughing xD Oh and Sasuke also commented on how tall Nakayama (Solidemo) is and that he's the tallest member among them.
This part of the play, though towards the end, was definitely a major highlight for me xD But I always tend to prefer seeing the actors as themselves and having fun than as a character ^_^
The ACTUAL AfterTalk
Then Shiramata explained how protein tastes horrible but Yamaguchi (Solidemo member) recommended him a certain shake and he was like (not direct quote) 'It actually tastes good! So you (the audience) should try it if you get a protein drink!' he said it was a strawberry flavoured one but missed which one he specified. I really enjoyed Shiramata's presense and his... cockiness? .. or at least the fire and confidence he has. I really like it! Which I normally tend to hate but he has such a cuteness to him as well xD we ALL remember when he got kissed at D Live right?! xD he's a cutie deep down <3
Then it only felt like ten minutes but then the Solidemo guys ALL walked into, making it a total of 7 members on the stage and they were like 'we're here to promote our new single' and so they spoke about the single and gave their opinions on the play and then obviously it went back to talking about Nakayama's height and also about the height's of all the members. To which Shiramata, feeling inferior xD, decided to go up the stage stairs so he could become the 'tallest' xD but when he came back down Yamaguchi stood next to him and put his hand up and Shiramata (he felt so confident) lifted his arm up too to reach his hand, and he was SO. FAR. OFF. So everyone died laughing and Shiramata got really embarassed and shy xD It was SO cute! The face his pulled was amazing. He was so distraught he couldn't reach! xD He was like a foot off! And finally they said their thanks and Solidemo once again promoted their shit and it ended.

(pssst. I really wanna steal his other sweaters too!!)

OMG I finally fucking finished it!! Over a week later since I watched it and it's taken my almost 2 hours tonight to write it completely! JESUS! Y'all better fecking enjoy this! xD
Overall: So turns out the reason I was so confused about BASARA was because the story was VERY simple. So I have trouble understanding a simple story. Thinking back now I did enjoyed myself but there were things like there being super steep stairs and me being around people who weren't fans and therefore ruining the mood that lessened my enjoyement of the play at the time but overall I did enjoy myself and there are MANY positive points to this play! Costumes, choreography, lighting, action scenes etc.

Back Right - Left: Most likely director or something, Mamoru, Ninja, Shiramata, Legend of Zelda wanna-be, Some guy I forgot, Fujita Rei, Nakagawa (SOLIDEMO), Yamaguchi (SOLIDEMO).
Front Right - Left: Probably a director, some bitch, Inoue, Masamune/Shiono, Matsumura/Yukimura, Shiina/Sasuke, Fan guy, Oda Nobunaga.
As for the characters themselves. I obvious automatically loved Masamune (which btw I totally forgot Shiono is younger than me! Aother bloody 95er!! He definitely doesn't carry the air of someone younger though. He seems very mature for his age.), Kojuro (I really liked Inoue as this character and it was nice seeing him not play a damn bad guy for one! He was super cool!), Motochika (he was just an overall brilliant Aniki and Shiramata definitely suits the voice range and personality that the character has xD) and Katsuei (FUJITA REI!!! His transition over the course of the play from having his shit together and being calm to just being completely broken was great!!) cos Shiono, Inoue, Shiramata and Fujita Rei <333
I did like Sen no Rikyu (Juri) to begin with because he had this whole split/double personality inner battle and switch thing going on which was nice but like towards the end I was just like 'Fans are a SHIT weapon' and there's a scene where he constanty switches between the two characters for like 5 minutes and it got boring and I really do not like the actors face - sorry! But his change in his voice between his good side and bad side were nice though! I ended up falling in love with Yukimura (he was just a great character overall and I enjoyed his humour and him and Sasuke as a pair were great!) and Sasuke (btw how the fuck Shiinai Taizo an '86er?!?! He looked the youngest there! And he's SO cute!!! I really like the acrobats he did in this too! His weapon was kool as well xD). Kotaro was an interesting character as he was very NINJA like - we never seen his face, he never talks and is very fast - BUT he definitely got the short end of the stick by playing a character with a romance plot line -_-

The ACTUAL AfterTalk
And so the after talk finally began! We had the two Solidemo Guys, Shiramata and Mamoru (who was playing Magoichi who is the girl who had potential but ended up being the other bitch's guardian thing -_-). at the after talk. They first began by talking about how the keiko (practise and rehearsals) went and Shiramata and Mamoru explained a bit of their training regime and Mamoru showed the audience how they do sit ups(?) while sitting on the chairs - it was very impressive - and she was like 'so this is how me and Shiramata got out muscles' and she did it so easily so I wanna try it!! xD Like this but obvious can't put your foot completely back down while you do it:

Then Shiramata explained how protein tastes horrible but Yamaguchi (Solidemo member) recommended him a certain shake and he was like (not direct quote) 'It actually tastes good! So you (the audience) should try it if you get a protein drink!' he said it was a strawberry flavoured one but missed which one he specified. I really enjoyed Shiramata's presense and his... cockiness? .. or at least the fire and confidence he has. I really like it! And finally they said their thanks and Solidemo once again promoted their shit and it ended.
Extra/Guests:
There was a line leaving out (I didn't realise at the time) but it was to wave and hand shake the Solidemo boys and I was accidently in that line so when I exited and realised what line I was in, I zoomed out and the theatre staff looked at me like 'did she just accidenty leave the line or did she accidently join the line?' xD But I have no interest in them... sorry!!
AND!! I thought that beautiful guy in the centre of the theatre was most likely an actor... AND!!! Of course! It turned out it was Shinchan xD I really liked his sweater too and tbh that's what MAINYL caught my interest, but it doesn't help he was on a row FULL of women and he was the only guy sat in the row, and in a really good seat, wearing a mask and really stylish clothing! So I am not surprised it was him xD
