Before even watching the film; just looking from the list of well know actors you know this film is going to have good acting at least!

List of Actors:
- Tatsuya Fujiwara - Always been an amazing actor and played a character you'd expect him to play =D
- Haruka Ayase - Again plays a character you 'think' she would play ;) Terribly beautiful and amazing actress!
- Aya Hirayama - Never seen her act before but her character was a pain!
- Satomi Ishihara - Never really liked her but her character was (luckily) less toned down than what she's played before ^_^ Her ending was satisfactory haha
- Shinji Takeda - Again, another I haven't seen but played his character really well and convincing and enjoyable to watch!
- Tsuyoshi Abe - Always been a great actor but I wish he'd play a lighter role for once xD
- Kinya Kitaoji - He was amazing in this film, must see him in more!
- Nagisa Katahira - I think I've seen her before. Nevertheless, a cute and realistic character =D
- Takurô Ohno - I liked his character but I wish we could've heard his story, very intredging ^_^
- Masanori Ishii - Short but sweet character, bit CRAZY though o_O

The film starts fairly enigmatic: who are these people, why are they there?
And then slowly (over the first 20minutes or so) everything is explained and rules are in place. THIS is where it gets REAL interesting!
Deaths here and there, mysteries, twists, turns, torture, fighting, slightly romance, everything happens! Extremely intense! Especially when they go on patrolling while the GUARD is out as there is a risk of being killed and a romantic scene is thrown in and then nearly getting caught.
I was actually hoping there'd be an intense romantic/sex scene between Yuki and Suwana:
A. Because we knew they liked each other.
B. It'd add extreme tense of them being caught by the GUARD =D
I really did not like that GUARD; pretended to be fair but FUDGED them over o_O xD
All the characters are individual and different but are able to relate somehow, eg. Fujiwara's Character 'Yuki' was able to help (fron past memories/experience) a guy stop drinking.
These twists and turns happen all the way up to even the last MINUTE of the film!
The last 10 minutes of the film is where it really picks up tension and speed but nevertheless, all the rest is definately a "gripping the sheets" and "on the edge of your seat" feelings.
A small (film study) comment on cinematography (camera shots) very nice shots and I loved the angles on the close ups and the colouring in this film was great and the use of music and sound was extremely effective (especially the patrolling part!) so yeah overall EXTREMELY enjoyable, definately watch again and again and VERY tense! =D
Overall: Amazing =D
There was only one tiny character flaw that annoyed me (Ayase betrayed Fujiwara =[) and you may understand it when it's at the end ^_^
I will definately by on DVD one day =D
